About us
LAB8 is an independent pathology and cytology analysis laboratory based in Geneva, established in 2019. Founded by FMH-certified specialist pathologists, LAB8 is dedicated to pathological and cytological diagnostics. Located in the Charmilles district, it meets a strong local demand and brings together around twenty highly qualified staff members, including biomedical laboratory technicians.
LAB8 is the first and only laboratory in French-speaking Switzerland to perform the Prolaris® Test, since 2024.Trained as specialists in the Pathology Departments of the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) and the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV), LAB8's physicians are experts in general pathology, including urological, gastrointestinal, respiratory and ENT, gynaecological, lympho-haematological, and dermatopathology.
